About upfc.exe:
in 1809 there appeared such a sneaky file upfc.exe (visible in the processes as Updateability From SCM) which restores services and entire registry branches at specified intervals so that Windows periodically checks for updates. Ie, to put it simply, in 1809, even if you disable the check for updates, upfc will still turn them on again. Moreover, this concerns not only the update system, but also Cortana, Store, the OneDrive connection permission in the Cloud
In the assembly, upfc.exe is replaced with a dummy, in case it is restored by an update or sfc / scannow
the time of the next check has changed to 2055, although most likely when the file itself is restored, the check period will return once a week ..
Therefore, sfc / scannow is not recommended
